How To Make Halo 3 Costumes

You can start with the halo 3 helmet, by following the curves and shape of a motorcycle helmet. Choose a plain cardboard out of which you can make the 3D style helmet patterns. Paint the helmet using the same color as the Master Chief costume. Tape or glue the helmet patterns but make sure it fits your head before it is attached to your clothing using a Velcro.

To make the costume more realistic, stick the fiberglass fabric to the cardboard using hot glue. Make sure you smoothen out the fabric using a heavy object, to keep it pasted to the cardboard while avoiding the hot glue.

You also need to apply fiberglass resin to the costume. This substance is very toxic so make sure you are in a well-ventilated area when doing the halo 3 costumes. Aside from the glove armor, you will also need a lower leg armor and knee pads. You will be needing lots of Velcro to attach the glove armor and the knee pads.

Creating your very own halo 3 costumes will not be a walk in the park. In fact, you can expect it to be very challenging especially if this is your first time to make use of the materials suggested here.
